I want these shoes so bad! Iron Fist: Manslayer’s. They look so dam awesome. And I’m not one to go gaga over shoes!!
Ive decided that I need to find someone like this.
Day Four: Your favorite horror movie.
Now I am not one to scare easy when it comes to horror movies. Most of the time I just think “this is soooo stupid!” But for some arbitrary reason “Grave Encounters” managed to scare me. And because it is the first movie in a very long time that has managed to scare me, it is officially my favourite.
When I talk about Grave Encounters I am talking about the first one because the second was so stupid, it was just like every other horror movie I have watched.
I don’t know what it is about this movie that scares me, it could possibly be that I visited an abandoned hospital that had the same sort of feel to it. The Kempton Park Hospital in South Africa is creepy as shit! So I guess while watching Grave Encounters, the fear I had while roaming the halls of the abandoned hospital were brought back to life when watching this movie.
Here is a few examples of what can be found in Kempton Park Hospital. And this is my justification as to why I shat my pants when watching Grave Encounters.
Although these are professional photographs, that were not taken by me. I can say they are real photographs of Kempton because I’ve seen all this shit myself. The hospital was abandoned in 1996 and no one really knows why. The reason most people think is because of lack of funds. But I don’t think so because logically you have to move patient files out of the hospital and they are all still there. I read one that was dated back to 1985. The hospital equipment is all still there as you can see. Things like incubators, theater lights, beds, wheelchairs and a whole lot more. It all still works. And it has an estimated value of R10 Million. Feel free to look up the exchange rate. So obviously funding was not an issue as you can see they could have sold some of the equipment and close some of the hospital. This is a legitimate mystery. Feel free to look it up.
Day Three: Your favorite action/adventure movie.
This one kind of confused a little. I didn’t know if they wanted an action adventure, or an action or adventure. So I’m just going with what is more convenient for me. So I’m going with adventure.
Okay, my favourite adventure movie would definitely be “The Lord of the Rings.”
This film based on J.R.R Tolkien’s is so awesome it takes epic to a whole new level. I mean who ever doesn’t find all the most epic fantasy creatures (My preference of these creatures being the elves) rolled into one epic journey “amerzing” is a total tool and an idiot.
And what exactly makes Lord of the Rings so legendary? The action (hello Helms Deep), the well written and portrayed characters (For me Legolas and Aragorn). The plot is fantastic and I wish there were more then 3 movies.
Anyway, I love these epic films.
Day Two: Last Movie I watched.
The last movie I watched was like two days ago, so I had to scratch my brain a little to remember what it was.
Anyway the movie was Colombiana, It was on the TV, so I put it on.I actually enjoyed it. There’s always something really awesome about a chick that can kick ass and I think there should be more movies like it.
This is my favourite quote. “Lilo and Stitch”, represents the true meaning of family and Lilo is able to sum up family perfectly into one word. My family is very important to me and I think that is why this quote has grabbed me more than any other Disney quote!
I just created my family arms for HBO’s Game of Thrones. Join the Realm and create yours now: www.jointherealm.com
It’s my first time watching Game of Thrones. ( I wanted to see what all the big fuss was about.) It’s literally been 7 minutes and I’m already hooked. Such an epic beginning. I have to watch as much as possible soon. So that I am where the rest of the world is. :O epicness!!!!
